Within minutes of getting the second drain caulked and torqued into place the rain came. We would have liked to have more time for the sealant to setup, but Mother Nature was ready to test out our work. We witnessed water channelling along the deck and whirlpooling down the newly installed deck drains.
We were not completely satisfied with this light sprinkle test, so we got the garden hose out to really move some water. I went below deck while Robbie sprayed the deck and drains with as much water as he could move. There were no drops found around the drains. Hopefully when waves are blasting across the bow of the boat out in the ocean these drains will hold. Only one way to find out. I feel like these drains will be the least of my worries then though. ;) Thanks for the help Robbie!
